Happy Hour!

There will be an informal happy hour on Friday, Aug. 24^th at Dawn Hill (6ish). Hope a lot of ya'll can make it.

It's over!

The original reunion website is being shut down at the end of the next billing cycle, which may be 8/13 and may be 9/13 (the website wasn't very clear on this point). Anyway, thanks to everyone for participating. I've saved a few pages (including the Lifesaver Yarn Person thread, which ultimately beat the American Idol thread by 20 posts) and will print them and hopefully have them available for review during our 40 year reunion.

Reunion DVD Update

FYI, those who bought/want to buy a reunion dvd ... I'm mailing it to Bryan Truitt this Wednesday. He will copy them and mail them out. I am in the process of moving and haven't had a place to do the quick fixes and add the latest reunion pics until now. Not Bryan's fault. Send hate mail to me.

Annual get-togethers

I thought I’d spread the word that some of us have talked about an annual get-together. It’s very simple; we pick the same weekend of every month for each year and all book rooms at the same hotel. We can visit with each other while eating out, shopping, exploring, golfing, water skiing, sitting poolside, etc. Before the weekend is over, we will come up with the location for next year.

So far, the suggestions are Branson, Eureka Springs, somewhere around Tulsa, and Las Vegas. A good place is one that has shopping, local attractions, and a place for water sports.

June and October have been suggested for the months. I personally prefer the 3rd complete weekend of the month. I know that not all of us could make it each year but it would be a standing event for each year. And you can work it into any vacation plans and join in when it works with your schedule. It’s a built in way to stay connected with all your friends.
